The Anti-Database Policy.
Industry research shows standard travel sites collect up to 50 distinct data points on you. WovenVoyages collects zero. We are the architectural opposite of the industry standard.

1 Privacy at a Glance
The Only Exceptions
- Voluntary Email: Only if you explicitly subscribe to our newsletter.
- Isolated Payments: If you buy a Pro tool, a 3rd-party (Stripe) processes it. We do not see your card.
Industry Standards We Reject
- No Device Fingerprinting (tracking your phone across sites).
- No “Shadow Profiles” or Ad Targeting IDs.
- No Search History Logging or Geolocation Tracking.
The Woven Promise
“Unlike standard travel sites that monetize your intent by selling your data to hotels and ad networks, our revenue comes solely from your direct support. We have no incentive to spy on you, so we simply don’t build the technology to do it.”
2 Our Privacy Principles
Ephemeral Data
Data exists only while you are on the page. When you close the tab, the “memory” of your trip plan evaporates.
Client-Side Logic
Calculations (like budgets) run on your device’s processor, not our cloud servers.
No “Upsell” Tracking
We don’t track that you looked at a flight to Paris so we can show you ads for Parisian hotels later.
3 Transactional Isolation
We distinguish strictly between Planning Data (where you go, who you are with) and Transactional Data (how you pay for our Pro tools).
Payments via Third Parties
When you purchase a Pro Tool, the payment is processed by a secure third-party provider (e.g., Stripe). They collect your billing details to authorize the charge. WovenVoyages never sees or stores your full credit card number.
Data Siloing
We maintain a firewall between your payment identity (Purchaser) and your travel identity (Planner). Your payment email allows you to access the tool, but it is not cross-referenced with the itinerary data you input. Your planning remains private, even if you are a paying customer.
4 Research: Industry vs. WovenVoyages
We researched the privacy policies of major OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) to illustrate the difference in our architecture.
| Data Category | Standard Booking Sites | WovenVoyages |
|---|---|---|
| Location Data | Tracked via GPS/IP for ads | Not Collected |
| Search History | Stored to predict behavior | Not Collected |
| Device ID | Logged for fingerprinting | Not Collected |
| Partner Sharing | Sold to “Selected Partners” | Impossible (No data to sell) |
5 Your Rights and Choices
Because we operate on a No-Data Architecture for planning, traditional privacy requests are often irrelevant. However, for Transactional Data (Pro users), you maintain absolute control:
- Right to Delete: Since planning data is stored in your browser’s local storage (cookies/cache), you can “delete” your data instantly by clearing your browser history.
- Right to Access: The only copy of your itinerary exists on your screen. You can access it by downloading the PDF generated by tools like TripMaster 7™.
- Right to Opt-Out: You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the link in the footer of our emails.
